Die maritime Welt ist vielfachen Bedrohungen ausgesetzt, die kriegerischen Ereignisse im Schwarzen und im Roten Meer sind nur zwei davon. Auf der ganzen Welt ist maritime Sicherheit ein Thema, nicht nur für die Defence Sparten.
Von Piraterie bis illegale Fischerei: Handel und freie Seewege sind in Gefahr. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden prominente Persönlichkeiten aus Politik, Industrie, Wissenschaft und Marinen im kommenden September zusammentreffen. Sie werden dringende Themen der Sicherheit und Verteidigung auf See diskutieren. Das Forum dafür wird die MS&D-Konferenz bieten, die vom 5.-6. September im Rahmen der SMM stattfinden wird.
Erstmals kooperiert die »Conference on maritime security and defence« mit dem Deutschen Maritimen Institut (DMI).
Das Motto der diesjährigen MS&D-Konferenz lautet »Challenges of Transition in the Naval and Maritime Domain«. Themen der MS&D-Konferenz sind in diesem Jahr neben den aktuellen geopolitischen Herausforderungen u.a. auch die technischen Reaktionen der Industrie auf Invasionsbedrohungen, der Umgang mit kritischen Unterwasserinfrastrukturen, der Einsatz von Dual-use-Technolgy und neueste Trends im Marineschiffbau.
In vier Panels und rund 20 offenen Vorträgen werden dich hochkarätigen Referenten einen Einblick in ihren jeweiligen Wirkungsbereich geben.
